A day that can only be described as MAGICAL!

August 13, 2022 is a day that will forever be embedded into my soul. This was the day I joined my soulmate in marriage.
I started the day lazily in bed, listening to the sounds of my best friend getting ready. I climbed over to cuddle with my nephew and basked in the giddiness that today was THE DAY...the day I had been waiting for, for 13 months and 6 days.
The day progressed as I hoped, surrounded by my closest friends. I was calm yet so excited. The time couldn't pass fast enough until I could see him, although we chatted on the phone a few times that morning my heart raced knowing he would be waiting for me at the end of the aisle.
It feels so surreal, those moments that passed so quickly. I remember walking down the street to the venue, and my bridesmaids needing to rein me in because I was practically running!
And finally, I found myself waiting behind a fence. I couldn't help but peak out from behind as my Maid of Honour and Best Man walked down. I jumped back quick, knowing we had seen eachother - but no one else knew.
As I walked down the aisle, everything faded away. My heart pitter-pattered in my chest, and the only thing I saw was *him*, my love, my soulmate. My heart felt just as it had 2 years ago "There's your husband"!
The love that was present filled my soul with so much gratitude, and our ceremony was so beautifully representative of us! Special thanks to our officiant Jake McArthur of Collingwood for capturing the story of our love so completely!
Our day has been described by all as "Magical", a description I am honoured to receive. Our love is like a fairy tale, and I am so blessed that we could share it with our closest friends and family.
From our first dance to our last, the whole day was perfect, even through the imperfect moments. Because life is a series of imperfect moments, strung together to make a lasting legacy.
Here is one of my favourite moments I would love to share, that captures just a small piece of the magic that was present! My bridesmaid, Shelsey Jarvis sang to us a beautiful rendition of "On My Way" by Jennifer Lopez - a 2nd first dance! Wait until you see the end <3
And now, I am so honoured to share my magic with other brides, as I help to plan their special day!
