Ask and you shall recieve

In the still of the morning, I find still in KY heart.

Away from the hustle and bustle. Usually tucked under a fuzzy blanket in my office, surrounded by crystals and candles. This is my comfort zone.

However, I asked to grow, to evolve. And that means getting comfortable with the uncomfortable. Nothing ventured, nothing gained....and all that...

I always feel comfort by water, and I know this little spot that was perfect for my discomfort. Just outside the brink of suburbia, lies a dead end street with a magical view of the river. I was greeting by the constant rushing of the water, ducks quacking and the cool crispness of the morning air.

I sat in my car, and tuned into myself for my morning meditation. I've practiced I my car before, but something felt different. And it was damn uncomfortable.

"Do I need to lock my door? Am I safe? Will the police come?" Were all the questions circling in my head. My head was in panic mode. My heart said "be still."

So I took some deep breaths, I focused on different ways of breathing. And I asked for a sign, a download, a guide for my next step

Do you know what I got? Nothing. Zip. Nada. Niente. YET.

See the thing is, we so often ask for things and EXPECT an immediate result. And then we make it mean something is wrong if it doesn't happen.

I've learned that when I ask for something, my only job is to lean back and trust that it is already on its way. That I don't need to force or manipulate. I just need to keep walking toward the direction of my dreams, my desires.

I've also learned that when I ask for something, I may not recieve it in the way I want, but ALWAYS in the way I NEED.

2022 is going to be BIG, for so many reasons, and I am so excited to see where the journey takes me, us.
