The power of Bridges 🌉

It has been awhile since I last posted, and as I sit in a freezing hockey rink, waiting to watch my man play, I find myself reflecting in the path that has lead me here.
Willingly sitting in the cold. But here, nonetheless.
On my path, there have been many mountains to climb, valleys to experience healing in, and many bridges to cross.
And so often we say "I'll cross that bridge when I get to it." But will we?
These bridges have taken me to so many amazing destinations, but they all had something in common: I needed to be brave and have courage in order to step foot on them.
Some of these bridges were so long and I couldn't see the other side - which activated huge fears in me. What if what's on the other side isn't better? What if I chose wrong?
Some bridges had "tread carefully" signs, that had me running (metaphorically) as fast as I could across them.
And some were a beautiful, scenic journey that naturally unfolded.
Bridges symbolize transition, change and conquering fear.
Have you ever had a moment where the next step seemed so clear but terrifying as hell? That meant you needed to give up your comforts in trade for something that fit better? That sparked joy, growth, passion, creativity; instead of keeping you small, unseen and "protected"? Pretending to be someone else at the expense of your hearts desires?
Who will you choose to be when you come to the bridge? Will you be brave, dig deep and embrace change. Or will you walk away from it?
